  • I'm working on interplanetary procedurally generated cities while maintaining 30+ FPS in Unreal Engine 5.1. Travel between planets is seamless.
  • When completed, this won't be just an open world– it will be an open galaxy.
  • Although the galaxy will be explorable, the game is centered around a singular planetary system.
  • This is a solo dev game. I plan to upgrade it to UE 5.2 to take advantage of the experimental procedural generation tools.
  • I'm using an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Super. I plan to continue optimizations to maintain and increase the 30+ FPS framerate.

  • I'm testing the spacecraft vertical take off and automated landing for the spacefighter, spaceshuttle, and capitalship.
  • There was a bug where the spacefighter was getting launched into space after I flew the capitalship. I've fixed the bug.
  • I got lost and couldn't find the capitalship temporarily on my return trip to the planet.
